After an insanely busy period with work and the holidays, I am back to full EVE goodness and will be resuming development of new tools as well as working on improving the existing tools. :)
Out of all of the thousands of entries into our drawing, Dantae had the winning entry (Genesis - Megacyte - 2006.05.16 003215.txt). As soon as we are able to contact Dantae and award him his prize we will have him post here and on the CCP forums to verify he has recieved it. In the event we can not reach Dantae, we will select a new winner 1 week from today.
Thank you to everyone who participated. We are discussing the possibility of making this a monthly contest so keep those entries coming as all entries will be valid in all drawings!
Thanks, Basil
UPDATE: Dantae has claimed his prize! Congrats!
I will be announcing two more winners this weekend for runner up prizes:
The 25 Million ISK winner for the person uploading market files covering the most regions (all minerals in each) will be announced on Saturday.
The 25 Million ISK winner for the person uploading the most market files overall will be announced on Sunday.
Now that this site is up and running and all of the gremlins appear to be worked out of the system, we want to get things rolling with a bang!
On June 15th we will be giving away 100 Million ISK
Every EVE market data file that is uploaded gives that user 1 entry into the drawing. Upload a thousand files, get a thousand entries in the drawing. Uploading the same market file over and over will only count as 1 entry as we will be filtering out duplicate files. :)
Minerals count for double! Data files for minerals (Tritanium, Pyerite, Mexalon, Isogen, Nocxium, Zydrine, Megacyte, & Morphite) will get you two entries into the drawing for each data file uploaded.
Additional prizes will be given out to the following categories:
Most data files uploaded - Any data file from any region counts
Most regions covered for minerals (the person who uploads data files for all mineral types in the most regions) - All mineral types must be uploaded for a given region for that region to count.
Enter as often as you like, upload as mnay data files as you would like. You can upload the same data file for the same region every day (IE you can upload a data file for Tritanium in the Placid region every single day as long as it is a new export file.) The winner for the 100 Million ISK prize will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries at midnight PST June 15th (end of the day on the 15th)
We have added a new tool called the "Region Map". The region map tool shows all the systems in a selected region organized by constallation. The results can be limited using a minimum and maximum security filter. This is a useful tool for finding potential pirate hunting areas, mining areas, or POS locations. The number of planets, moons, astroid belts, and stations per system is also shown along with a constellation map.
We have also removed the need to login from several tools including the Jump Map, Region Map, & Market Summary. Since these tools do not modify any data or store any information unique to each user there is no need to require login for these pages.
Thanks again for the support and remember if you like the site please give our eve-online forum post a bump. Here is a link to the thread: EVE Online Forum Post
Our goal is to provide an ever increasing range of free web based tools that enhance EVE game play. Due to many of our tools being integrated and other that associate data to each individual user, we do require that everyone login prior to using our tools. This requires a very simple registration that only requires an email address and password from you. This login also gives you full access to our community forums and dev boards. We do not use these email addresses for any kind of solicitation and we will never give out your address.
In our forums we have created section for reporting bugs, requesting feature enhancements, requesting entirely new tools, etc
